Fan Dies
Fan Dies
Tuesday, 11th Apr 2000 14:11

The North Stander who collapsed during Saturday's game has sadly died. The fan, thought to be from Braintree, collapsed during the second half with a heart attack and was tended by both stewards and St John's Ambulancemen before going to hospital where he was in Intensive Care. All at TWTD send our condolences to the family and friends.

Former Town manager John Duncan is out of a job. The man who made the late-eighties what they were for Town fans has seen his Chesterfield side slump to the bottom of the Second Division and they look doomed for the drop.

In his second spell with the Spireites Duncan took them to within a whisker of Wembley when they lost in an FA Cup semi-final to Middlesbrough, but things have since gone horribly, horribly wrong.
