Karic's Slovenians Out Saturday, 8th Jun 2002 09:21 Amir Karic's Slovenia bowed out of the World Cup after a disappointing 1-0 loss to South Africa. Neither side impressed in the most lacklustre game of the World Cup so far. The Slovenians had already lost their previous game 3-1 against Spain. Karic played the full 90 minutes and hit a fine shot just over the bar as the game entered the final ten minutes. The game also saw Slovenia manager Srecko Katanec banished to the stands by the fourth official. Slovenia's last World Cup game is against Paraguay next Wednesday (12.30pm).
