U18s Drop to Second After Blades Defeat Sunday, 14th Apr 2019 23:43 Town’s U18s were beaten 4-0 by Sheffield United at Playford Road on Saturday afternoon and as a result dropped to second place in the Professional Development League Two South table with only their game in hand on new leaders Cardiff City left to play. The Bluebirds completed their league fixtures with a 5-1 home victory over Burnley and currently have a two-point lead at the top of the table. The side coached by Adem Atay and Kieron Dyer, which has already qualified for the end-of-season play-offs, will win the division if they defeat Crystal Palace away in their final league game of the season on Tuesday afternoon at Goals Beckenham (KO 1pm). Meanwhile, Town's U23s end their table-topping Professional Development League Two South campaign with a home game against Nottingham Forest at Portman Road on Monday evening (KO 7pm).
