Town's Nigerian winger Finidi George has been fined £750 and ordered to pay £35 costs after being caught speeding at more than 90 miles-an-hour on the A14.

The former international was clocked travelling at 95.14mph in his BMW X5 at Kentford, not far from Newmarket.

The winger, who did not appear in court but pleaded guilty via a letter, had no previous convictions for driving offences and was given four penalty points in addition to the fine.
