Not interested in the 'ifs and buts' had we played against 11 men for the rest of the game.

We created a clear goalscoring opportunity against 11 men and he was deservedly sent off. We then battered Stanley the rest of the the half and were worthy of the lead. Second half I think a combination of sitting back too much, nerves and Stanley going route one meant we didnt continue in the same vein. However, they only had one clear goalscoring opportunity and we saw the game out.

Cold Tuesday night, away from home, against a team that complained about every single challenge......3 points in the bag.....job done.

It's all subjective really. One person will see it as taking the player out and another will see it as an attempt to get the ball. I personally think the ref made the correct decision at the time. he got sent off rightly or wrongly, they went down to 10 we missed the penalty , and its all history now .Lets just worry about getting out of this league .
