Another name to add to the growing number on Town's shortlist is another former Middlesbrough manager, Bryan Robson. Robson has officially applied for the position and will be considered in the next couple of weeks.

Rumours suggesting that Town have approached Plymouth Argyle for permission to talk to their manager have been quashed by Chairman Paul Stapleton.
