A number of Town fans gathered outside Portman Road after today's defeat to Gillingham, protesting about Joe Royle's expected appointment as manager of the Blues.

The group of around 20 also called for the board to be sacked and for David Sheepshanks to "sort it out."

Similar calls were made on the final whistle while large numbers of fans made it clear that they would not be happy if Joe Royle was to be given the job.
