New Turnstile Blues On Sale Saturday
New Turnstile Blues On Sale Saturday
Friday, 14th Oct 2022 15:26

The 26th issue of Town fanzine Turnstile Blues will be on sale at Portman Road before the match against Lincoln City this Saturday.

This issue marks the 10th anniversary of the fanzine which was intended as a 'one-off' when it was first launched on 6th October 2012.

In the new issue, there's a look back over what a decade of the fanzine tells us about life as an ITFC supporter in that time and there's a view further back into history as the life and legacy of the Cobbold family is viewed through a contemporary lens.

There's also an assessment of where Town stand after four seasons in the third tier and an interview with Rainbow Tractors founder Francine Flisher.

In the international context, there's an exclusive interview with BBC TV commentator Robyn Cowen, who tells us what it was like to cover the Lionesses' Euro 22 triumph from behind the microphone.

The fanzine also looks ahead to the World Cup, recalling Town players' past contributions to the tournament and questions the choice of Qatar as a venue.

Turnstile Blues will be on sale around Portman Road from 1.30pm, still for the original 2012 price of £1 (cash only please).

Good effort. My brother use to put out Dribble back in the day, so always nice to see fanzines still be produced
