Logan Off to Boston

Richard Logan, given a free transfer by Town yesterday, is off to Boston on a month's loan. Logan, 20, and fellow youngster Erdem Artun were both given frees by manager Joe Royle who feels they need first team football at this stage of their careers.

Boston manager and former Town left-back Neil Thompson has been on the look-out for a loan striker for a couple of weeks and will be hoping Logan can score goals.

Earlier in the season another Town striker, Steve Burton, spent three months at York Street, but scored just once and that in the Worthington Cup.

Logan has previously enjoyed spells on loan with Cambridge United and Torquay.
