Burnley Ticket Sales End at 5pm
Monday, 6th Feb 2023 15:28

Tickets for tomorrow night’s FA Cup fourth-round replay against Burnley at Turf Moor will go off sale at 5pm today with none on sale to Town fans on the night of the match.

More than 1,000 Town supporters are expected to make the trip to Lancashire as the sides meet for a second time having drawn 0-0 at Portman Road a week ago on Saturday. The winners will face Fleetwood or Sheffield Wednesday at home in round five.

All collections at Burnley will be from the Ticket Collection Point opposite the North Stand and fans should note that there will be a large number to be collected. Full information on Burnley tickets here.

He suggests that KM will play a 2nd string team and a lot of first team may not even travel to stay fresh for Sheff Wed on Sat. Almost 100% of stuff from his mouth is brown and smelly but he may be right on this one...

Fair enough, I suppose. Very late to let us know there are no walk up sales. Away allocation less than half taken up. People have busy lives and cannot now make late decision to go on the day of match. Could have made it all ticket as soon as the replay date was confirmed? Ok, walk up sales will make very little difference as there are relatively few Town fans in the North West, but I might just have decided tomorrow, and made the effort, being on holiday, and with health up and down at the moment. Guess it saves me getting home in the early hours, after extra time and pens. Still remember getting back late from midweek replays at Liverpool (lost 3-2 aet) and Blackburn Rovers (won 1-0 aet). Only the thrill of the FA Cup did that to you - if you're of a certain age.

None of us knows what our first or best Xl is, and a 'second Xl' one week could easily become a 'first Xl' the following week. Based on who was selected at Cambridge I guess the second Xl currently includes Woolfy, Burgess,Donacien,Aluko,Leigh,Humphreys, Luongo,Hirst,Hladky,Jackson,Edwards. Personally I think one or both of Morsy and Evans will start in midfield. Regardless of who starts the line up will always look relatively strong.

Linkboy13, I did say that was what Sutton had said...
I have to agree with Chepstowblue however that I don't think KM has any idea what his best / first XI are... It would help if he played the same team at least 2 games in a row but that doesn't seem the "modern" management way....

.Just hoping Ipswich give it a right go....Would love to see us in the next round and a loud full house atmosphere in the next round..
