Of course the Officials have the final say , BUT it is from the video very hard to see CC as being offside when the ball is actually played towards the goal .
One has to wonder whether the Match Officials body bothers to look at and into doubtful decision making ; do they find or make the time to talk with Club Managers , to either find out their views or take , OR just as importantly to further educate one and all and enhance joint respect ?
Congratulations ,however , to the ITFC contingent representing us week in week out with distinction and very good standards of behaviour !
Great result - well deserved !

Doesn't show our penalty claim, looked good from the north stand but was it?

Still a degree of uncertainty when it comes to crosses in the defence...other than that currently doing a great job! Chaplin's disallowed goal was onside (not shown here).

Decent highlights for a change.

Chaplin was 2-3 yards onside but I suspect that Davis was given offside when the ball was played in to him. It looks like Chaplin is asking the linesman this afterwards.

Fatboy - seen it on YT, not 2 or 3 yards but you can compare when the pass was made with Chaplin and the defenders leg on the 6 yard box line and Chaplin was onside. If VAR was present would clearly show that.

TimmyH - I meant that Chaplin was behind the ball when it was played in, so he was onside regardless of where the defenders were. However, when the ball is played in to Davis, the attackers and defenders are all in a line - difficult to tell from that angle whether Davis was just on or just off.

When Chaplin looks over to the linesman, he points over to where Davis was. I think he is asking him if was Davis who was given offside, because he must have known that he wasn't.
