Straight Choice for Jensen
Straight Choice for Jensen

Claus Jensen will today make the choice between furthering his career with Town or continuing at Charlton. Both clubs have agreed a fee of around £4 million with Bolton and it is now up to the player whose offer he accepts. It has emerged this morning that Jensen talked to Alan Curbishley at Charlton prior to visiting Portman Road yesterday. He then spoke with George Burley and David Sheepshanks (who seems to have put off his holiday to complete the deal) yesterday evening. Talks are reported to continue today and so far no press conference has been organised for today.

Jim Magilton's misconduct hearing has been cancelled and now won't take place until after the tour. The date was set but it clashed with the tour. Magilton is looking at receiving a fine for the alleged kick at Paul Warhurst.

David Rose is set to take over Howard Wells' role in the South Stand (ie Churchman's) development. Wells left Town last week to pursue personal ambitions. The majority of his work is now David Sheepshanks' responsibility, but Rose has been handed the task of handling the stand. The club will also announce a new finance director this week, the increase in revenue over the last few years has necessitated this position. Other changes within the club include Alesha Gooderham joining the Executive Committee representing Senior management. She is now in charge of Public Relations and club communications.

Alan Brazil has denied that he was sacked from Sky Sports. Brazil has reacted angrily to suggestions he was pushed out, saying he chose not to sign a new deal due to his Talksport commitments. Brazil appears on the radio station early in the morning and balancing the two had become a struggle.
