Town should have Fabian Wilnis, Chris Makin and Tommy Miller in their line-up at Derby on Sunday KO 1.30pm) despite all having injury worries this week. Joe Royle has also called three youngsters into his squad.

Royle says that Miller is over his calf strain and ought to be fit: "Tommy did a bit of training today and, as long as there is no reaction, he showed he is OK.

"Chris Makin turned his ankle, and Fabian Wilnis has had a bit of a knee problem but they will both be fine."

The Town boss has promoted three academy players for the trip to Pride Park. Goalkeeper Lewis Price, central defender Aidan Collins and midfielder Antonio Murray are all in the running for possible senior debuts.

Price has impressed in the reserves over the last year or so, although he has recently been out of action with a wrist injury, returning at the 3-0 second string win at Coventry on Tuesday night. He will replace Lames Pullen on the bench, the former Heybridge Swifts man having been told he can leave on a free transfer earlier this week.

Collins and Murray are both youngsters who Joe Royle very much sees in his plans for next season.

Midfielder Matt Bloomfield might have been in for a debut on Sunday but badly bruised his knee in the reserves. Young striker Dean Bowditch is away with the England U17s.
