Robson Leaves Town

Former Ipswich manager Sir Bobby Robson has finally cut his links with the town by selling his house on Constitution Hill.

The Newcastle boss spent the end of last week helping with the move and is leaving Suffolk after 34 years with a house in the county. With his life now back in the north-east, he says a permanent move back to that area makes sense: "I'm extremely sad to be leaving. I've had this house since 1982 but I've returned to my roots now.

"I've got to think of the next ten years of my life and that will probably be in Newcastle."

Previously Robson lived in Capel St Mary and Bentley, moving to his most recent house in 1982.
