Targeted defender or midfielder Thomas Gaardsøe says he isn't too bothered by the speculation about him. Yesterday it emerged that West Brom had had an offer for the Dane turned down and they are expected to return with another bid.

Gaardsøe didn't know anything of the Baggies' move until he read of it in the papers, but says he is not letting it affect him.

He told the club site: "It's not something I'm concerned about at all and I will only think about it if things move on to another stage.

"I'm perfectly happy at Ipswich and all I am focused on now is getting fit for the start of the season."

The former AaB player picked up an ankle knock in the friendly with Southend and is expected to be out for a month.
