U19s Lose
U19s Lose

Town's U19s lost their home game to Watford on Saturday morning 1-0. The Blues fielded a young side as many senior academy players had been involved in the reserves loss to Arsenal on Wednesday.

The only regular U19 player involved was centre-half Chris Hogg who has dropped back in the reserves pecking order over the last six months or so, Aidan Collins and Gerard Nash nosing ahead of him.

Hogg, who joined Town from York City for a fee which could rise to £150,000 in the summer of 2001, impressed against the Hornets and will hope to win back a start in the reserves.

The reserves next game is against Leicester City at Portman Road on Wednesday (KO 7pm) while the U19s face Aston Villa away next Saturday.
