![]() Sunday, 28th Sep 2003 11:55 Town are interested in making a loan bid for Newcastle United youngster Bradley Orr, according to a weekend paper. Orr, 20, has previously been targeted by First Division rivals Burnley and Bradford. Tabloid talk is also linking him with Nottingham Forest and Sunderland. Magpies' boss Sir Bobby Robson said recently he would listen to any bid for the Liverpool-born player. With two midfielders and a striker already on loan it looks unlikely that Joe Royle would move for another player on a short-term basis at the current time. However, with the three players all too old to be taken on season-long loans, the Town boss is likely to have to look to elsewhere when their spells are up. Meanwhile Ryan France, the right-wing trialist from Alfreton Town, has joined Hull City for £15,000, scoring on his debut against Kidderminster yesterday as the Tigers won 6-1. France was involved for Town in the reserves friendly with Cambridge United last month.
