Trust Meets With Bowden
Trust Meets With Bowden
Monday, 17th Nov 2003 10:05

The next meeting between club chief executive Derek Bowden and Ipswich Town First is scheduled for November 28th. Bowden has agreed to meet with the recently formed Trust on a monthly basis.

The Trust is asking its members to put forward issues to be aired at the meeting, which will be attended by two members of the acting Trust committee.

With the club's share issue set for launch later this week it is likely the issue of shares will be amongst those up for discussion.

Members can raise an issue either by emailing the Trust Secretary or by visiting the Trust website. Non-members can join the Trust via the website.

This evening sees the Trust holding a Nostalgia Night at the Cock and Pye. The 1978 FA Cup Final will be shown as well as highlights of the 6-0 destruction of Man United in 1980.

Members and non-members of the Trust are invited to relive the memories of two great games in Ipswich Town's history and also take the opportunity to find out more about the Supporters' Trust.

The Trust Committee will be on hand to answer any questions about the Trust, explain its activities, and also talk about the share issue which will be launched next week. Learn how you can have a greater say in the running of your club.

The Cock and Pye is in Upper Brook Street with car parking near-by. The pub has 15 TV screen so good viewing is guaranteed. The pub serves four draught lagers and two real ales.
