Former Town defender Titus Bramble and Chelsea striker Carlton Cole have been named as the footballers arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a 17-year-old girl at London's Grosvenor Hotel in September.

The ban on revealing their identities has expired and various sources have named the pair.

The girl says she consented to sex with one man at the hotel on September 27th but was subsequently attacked by a number of others.

Another former Blue, Kieron Dyer, issued a denial of any involvement in the incident after his name was mentioned in connection with the case.

Bramble and Cole have masde no comment, but their lawyer has insisted that neither has done anything 'unlawful'.
