Town's academy U19 side is not in action this weekend as they have an FA Youth Cup match against Leeds United at Elland Road on Monday (KO 7pm).

Joe Royle has already revealed that Dean Bowditch will be involved in the game, the club taking the U18 knock-out competition seriously.

Other players with first team experience in the side are central defender Aidan Collins and Scott Mitchell, who recently made his senior debut at Derby at right-back but who will probably play in in central midfield on Monday.

Defender Gerard Nash is eligible, however he is having a cartilege operation today and will be out for six weeks.

Town won the FA Youth Cup in 1973 and 1975 with their best recent showing coming in 2001 when a side featuring Darren Bent, Darren Ambrose and Ian Westlake was defeated by Arsenal at the semi-final stage.

There are no replays in the Youth Cup, so the game will finish on the night, with penalties if necessary.

Likely squad: Supple, Synott, Mitchell, Manning, Krause, Collins, Flack, Barron, Bowditch, Craig, Reid, Beveridge, Lordan, Knights, Ainsley, Croll.
