Town After Keeper

Town are looking for a back-up keeper ahead of Sunday's derby clash with Norwich City, after second choice Lewis Price picked up an injury in training.

The 19-year-old is set to be out of action for up to nine weeks and third choice stopper, 16-year-old Irishman Shane Supple, is also on the sidelines with a knock.

Andy Marshall is set to sign for a second month at Wolves, the Midlanders having once again been given special permission to take him on loan, this time until December 31st when the transfer window opens.

Town boss Joe Royle says that he has an experienced keeper in mind to come in temporarily, and sees little point in Marshall returning: "I have spoken with Malcolm Webster and Colin Suggett and we have identified someone we want to bring in, and something may happen this week.

"It would be pointless for Andy to come back as he has a good chance to further his career by staying with Wolves. Nothing has been finalised with Andy as yet as Wolves have to sort one or two things out their end."

Should Royle's target not come in ahead of the derby then 18-year-old Scott Peat, who has been playing for Woodbridge Town as well as Town's U19s this season, would be on the bench.
