Striker Alun Armstrong has joined Bradford on a month's loan. Armstrong will team up with his old Middlesbrough boss Bryan Robson at Valley Parade.

The 28-year-old has been out of the first team picture at Town since the signing of Shefki Kuqi, and his career at Portman Road has been blighted by numerous injuries.

Most recently the ex-Stockport man has been on the sidelines with a badly gashed leg.

It is likely that Bradford will pay a proportion of Armstrong's wages while he is with them.

The Gateshead-born player is available on a free transfer and is out of contract at the end of the season.
