Midfielder Tommy Miller is the latest Town player to be hit by the flu bug which forced John McGreal to miss Sunday's loss to Crystal Palace. Miller and McGreal are both big doubts ahead of the home FA Cup tie with Derby on Saturday.

Better news for the Blues is that Jermaine Wright's foot injury is responding to treatment and the former Crewe man is due back in training on Thursday.

Boss Joe Royle says he will make one or two changes to his side for the visit of the Rams, with a couple of fringe players getting their chance to impress.

Martijn Reuser looks likely to be involved in the midfield while Dean Bowditch may well play some part. Prior to picking up the flu bug, Tommy Miller looked likely to come into the side.
