Joe: No Call for Kids Wednesday, 11th Feb 2004 10:37 Town boss Joe Royle says that despite Saturday's disastrous 3-1 home defeat to Wigan he is not looking at bringing in any more of the club's academy players into his first team plans. Royle watched the academy player-packed reserves beat Arsenal earlier in the week and had praise for a nukmber of them: “I was impressed with all the reserves on Monday, especially Georges Santos, who showed a tremendous attitude guiding the youngsters through. "Scott Mitchell and Scott Barron did very well and Alfie Kamara was strong against his old team. That was also Sam Morrow's best game for some time and Dean Bowditch took his goal very well. “But it is too early to start taking chances. Although it was a bad performance and a bad result on Saturday we are not too far away.”
