Town boss Joe Royle says his side must get seven wins from the last 11 games to guarantee themselves a place in the play-offs.

Royle said: “We need at least seven more wins from the rest of our games. That will put us right in there and in with a good chance of promotion, and that is achievable.”

The Town boss was impressed with his side's performance against Norwich, despite the defeat: “The players came back in for training looking forward. We can take a lot of solace out of our performance at Norwich.

“I have gone through the tape again and we were exceptional. There are a lot of positives to take out of that game. Even in the second half they did not give us that much trouble. They scored twice, one from a freekick which should not have been given.”

Royle continues his search for a loanee and also has Alun Armstrong back at his disposal after his loan at Bradford ended. The striker is currently sidelined with a thigh injury.
