Three Weeks Out for Pablo
Three Weeks Out for Pablo

Town striker Pablo Couñago is facing two or three weeks on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury in the reserves at Derby last night.

It's the second time the Spaniard has picked up this sort of injury at Pride Park this season, manager Joe Royle telling the club site: "There must be something that Pablo doesn't like about Pride Park after picking up another hamstring problem there.

"It looks like he will be out for two to three weeks and it's a blow for us and the lad as well.

"He scored early on for the reserves and was looking sharp in the game and everything was going well.

"He was looking back to somewhere near the old Pablo and that was the idea of the exercise but sadly he has ended up with the hamstring injury."
