Town will field a side unchanged from the one which beat Watford 4-1 last week when they make the trip to Milton Keynes to face Wimbledon on Saturday. Chris Bart-Williams returns to the bench after injury.

Bart-Williams came through 45 minutes of last night's reserve match with
Watford seemingly OK, although he will be assessed again in Friday before deciding whether he will be involved at the National Hockey Stadium.

Georges Santos (nose) and Alun Armstrong (thigh) both featured in the 1-1 second string draw with the Hornets and didn't report a problem.

Central defender Drissa Diallo misses out as he is suspended for one match after his sending off against Norwich.

Martijn Reuser is back in training after his knee ligament problem and was considered for inclusion amongst Saturday's substitutes.

Town are hopeful that Richard Naylor (broken toe) will return to training next week with Pablo Couñago (hamstring) pencilled in for a return a few days later.

Chris Makin, Town's only long-term injury victim, has had his latest operation and the surgeon found a tear in the cartilage which hadn't been picked up by his previous scans. Makin will miss the rest of the season but will spend the summer recuperating ahead of 2004/05.

Royle says that Wimbledon should not be underestimated despite their lowly position: "They've taken points out of West Brom, they won there this year. I think the biggest problem Stuart Murdoch has at the moment is that his side is changing week-to-week as people go. I think he's done a terrific job in impossible circumstances.

"Is this a chance to improve the goal difference? I'd settle for a 1-0 win, it's the points that are most important, we'll see about the goal difference later. Tony Mowbray saw them last night and said that Millwall were better than them but they never stopped trying.

"Stuart Murdoch has obviously fostered a great spirit there, and we've seen this division this year and there have been so many shock results; anybody can beat anybody.

"I always end by saying the same thing; that I fancy us against anybody. We've had two good performances in the last two games, we've probably had five good performances, but we've had a break in the last couple of games.

"This is a match we need to win, we don't go anywhere and try and contain sides, we go for it."

Saturday's referee is Premiership official Rob Styles from Portsmouth. So far this season he has booked 96 players and sent 11 off. He previously refereed Town in the 1-0 home loss to Manchester United in April 2002 when he controversially awarded the Red Devils a penalty when John McGreal and Titus Bramble 'clashed' with Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
