Town will face Peterborough United in a pre-season friendly at London Road on Saturday, July 10th. The Blues beat Barry Fry's side 2-0 in a similar game ahead of 2001/02, Wayne Brown and Darren Bent scoring the goals.

Town's 2004/05 pre-season programme is gradually becoming clear. They face Barnet at Underhill on Wednesday, July 21st (KO 7.45 pm) and come up against another London side on Saturday, July 24th when they take on Redbridge FC - formerly Ford United - at their Oakside Stadium in Barkingside. The match is part of the deal which saw Ben Patten and Jerome Sobers move to Portman Road.
The club face Newcastle in Dale Roberts's testimonial on Wednesday, July 28th, while the regular fixture against currently unnamed continential opposition is set for Saturday, July 31th.
The Blues are expected to face Lazio this summer and they could well be the side involved in that match, the last of Town's warm-up games. Two home friendlies with the Rome club were agreed as part of the Matteo Sereni transfer last summer.

As yet there is no official word on the pre-season tour. The strongest rumour suggests that Italy may be the Blues' destination.

In addition to the first team matches, Town are taking a reserve side to Leiston Town on Friday, July 16th.
