Naylor Moves Up Front
Naylor Moves Up Front

Versatile defender or frontman Richard Naylor will revert to his attacking role on Friday evening when the Blues take on AaB Aalborg in the second and final game of their pre-season tour (KO 7.10 local time).

Town's strikers, with the exception of Darren Bent, have failed to impress so far in pre-season and Naylor will start alongside the England U21.

Manager Joe Royle said earlier in the week that the side which lines-up against AaB will be nearer to his first eleven than the teams he put out at Peterborough and Randers.

Prior to the game fans of the two clubs will face one another in a match at AaB's training ground.

Ahead of the main game, supporters will be entertained by live music and barbecues.

Whilst in Denmark, former Bolton midfielder Michael Johanson is acting as Town's guide.

Town side: Davis, Wilnis, De Vos, Diallo, Richards, Miller, Magilton, Horlock, Westlake, Bent, Naylor.
