French defender Georges Santos says he expects to be a QPR player by the end of the week. Negotiations are continuing between the two clubs and Santos's representatives.

The former Tranmere, Sheffield United and Grimsby player said: "The deal is a little bit dead at the moment. There are one or two things to be sorted out between QPR, Ipswich and my agent and that will take a couple of days. But I expect I will join QPR by the end of the week."
