It looks likely that Darren Bent's goal against Wolves on Bank Holiday Monday will be taken away from him and credited with an own goal by Mark Clyde. A tape will be viewed by the video panel and the record books adjusted accordingly.

At the end of every match, both teams and the referee submit reports which include who scored the goals during the match. In this case, the report from the referee differed from Town's and thus the video panel will convene.

Judging by Darren's own muted reaction to the goal and the replays afterwards suggest that his goal tally will revert to two from the Nottingham Forest and Cardiff games.
