Town central defender Jason de Vos won his 47th international cap as Canada drew 1-1 with Honduras in San Pedro Sula on Saturday.

Frank Yallop's men went ahead through Atiba Hutchinson on 71 but Honduras hit back via the fantastically named Elvis Danilo Turcios in injury time.

Canada now require a minor miracle if they are to qualify for the World Cup.

De Vos played the full 90 minutes, while Town target Jaime Peters, set to make a decision on his future in the next couple of weeks, remained on the bench.

Canada face Costa Rica in Vancouver on Wednesday in their next qualifier.
