Town's second string face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this evening looking for only their second win of the season (KO 7pm).

Pablo Couñago, Dean Bowditch and Matt Richards will be the most experienced players for Town, with the rest of the squad made up of Academy youngsters.

Recent first team debutant Darryl Knights is likely to be involved as is Irish midfielder Owen Garvan, who was on the bench for Saturday's senior game with Brighton.

Town's coaching staff may be interested to take a look at Shaun Derry in action for the Eagles. The midfielder was a recent Joe Royle loan target and a subsequent move to Leeds fell through.

Royle said yesterday that he is keen on making a loan midfield signing ahead of the Christmas period and could well make another enquiry regarding Derry. Palace, however, would prefer the former Sheffield United man to make a permanent move.
