Academy keeper Shane Supple has been called into the Republic of Ireland U19 squad. Supple comes in as a replacement for Millwall keeper Terry Masterson who has withdrawn from the squad.

It is 17-year-old Supple's first call into the U19s, although he has previously played for Ireland at a number of other levels.

Already in the squad are Town striker Billy Clarke, also 17, and midfielder John Paul Kelly who is currently on trial with the Blues.

The Irish youngsters will take on Italy twice, first in Corato on 18th January and then in Biscegli two days later.
