New loan signing Jimmy Juan says he is excited to be at Town and will be looking to impress boss Joe Royle during the remainder of the season. The Monaco midfielder says he doesn't know whether the switch might eventually become a permanent move.

Juan, who speaks little English and is using Drissa Diallo as his translator, told the club site: "I'm really excited to be at this club and I'm hoping it will be a great experience for me.

"I'm here until the end of the season and want to show the manager what I can do, but I don't know what will happen in the summer when my loan is over. It's not down to me.

"I have three years left on my contract at Monaco and it is up to them what happens. I will have to wait and see."

Juan will make his first appearance in a Town shirt in the reserve game against Coventry at Nuneaton Borough this evening (KO 7pm).
