Town boss Joe Royle has named Spanish striker Pablo Couñago in his 17-man squad for Saturday's home game with QPR. The Blues have had a number of injury worries this week but all the affected players are expected to be OK to face Ian Holloway's side.

Fabian Wilnis was the biggest concern with a groin injury but his condition has improved over the last day or so.

Darren Bent and Kevin Horlock had knee and sciatic problems respectively, but both trained OK on Friday.

Couñago's lack of form in the reserves saw him left out of the 16 for recent games but Joe Royle has been concerned at the lack of goals from his other attackers, particularly Dean Bowditch who hasn't netted since scoring for the reserves in early November.
