Knights Wins Tenth Cap Tuesday, 3rd May 2005 20:16 Academy striker Darryl Knights played the full 90 minutes as England beat Belarus 4-0 in their opening match at the UEFA European U17 Championships in Italy. Goals from Myles Weston of Charlton, two from West Ham's Hogan Ephraim and a penalty from Blackburn's Joe Garner got the England youngsters off to a fine start. Turkey are their second opponents, in Pontedera on Thursday, before they complete their group games against the hosts in Cascina on Sunday. Two sides qualify for the knockout stage of the tournament from each group. Knights played wide on a flank for John Peacock's team rather than in the front role he more normally occupies for the Blues.
