Town are entering Masters League football for the first time in July. The Blues are entering a team into the Central Masters tournament to be held in Nottingham on Sunday 1st July.

We have no details on any team news as yet, although John Wark has played for Liverpool in the past and may be part of the squad. Town will compete with Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Leicester City, Aston Villa and Coventry City.

Masters League Football is shown on Sky TV and is described as "indoor football featuring professionals over the age of 35". The game is similar to five-a-side but with six of the club's eleven man squad on the pitch at any time.
