Keeper Lewis Price says he is determined to regain his place in the Town first team after being left out against Portsmouth in the FA Cup on Saturday. The Wales international was fit again having missed three games with a groin problem but boss Joe Royle stuck with 18-year-old Shane Supple.

Price said: "I will keep my head down and work as hard as possible in training this week, and hope that I will put a case for my involvement against Sheffield United in the Championship at Portman Road. I will fight for my place back."

However, the 21-year-old feels no animosity towards his rival for the gloves: "I wish Shane well and know what a talented goalkeeper he is."
