Striker Alan Lee is considered no more than a possible for Saturday's crucial play-off six-pointer at Preston. Lee has missed Town's last two games after slightly tearing his hamstring at Crewe.

Physio Dave Williams told the club site: "We will check on Alan's hamstring this week and see if the tear has completely healed and will then take it from there.

"He has been making progress and has been working with our fitness coach Simon Thadani, but at this stage it's touch and go whether he will be fit for the Preston match."

Lee's first target is to get back into full training on Thursday. The Blues are keen for the Irishman to be involved at Deepdale as loanee Ricardo Fuller is suspended for one game after amassing five bookings for the season.

Jimmy Juan could also be back in full training by the end of the week after his groin problem, but Fabian Wilnis is undergoing treatment on a swollen knee after his first half collision with Richard Naylor on Saturday.
