Striker Nicky Forster was pleased with his return to action in last night's 2-1 reserves victory at Norwich. The 32-year-old hopes to get back into first team contention before the end of the season.

Forster, who played 70 minutes against the Canaries, told the club site: "Everything went really well. I felt good throughout the game and, although there is a little soreness, it's only minor and to be expected.

"I want to push on from here and play as many games as I can before the end of the season. I've missed far too much football already this year.

"It will be down to the gaffer, but I'd love the opportunity to play in a couple of first team games before May."
