Sito in Jim's Plans Wednesday, 21st Jun 2006 20:09 Spanish full-back Sito has been told he is in new manager Jim Magilton's plans for the season ahead. The former Racing Club de Ferrol player was placed on the transfer list by former boss Joe Royle at the end of last season. Magilton told the club site: "A new manager means a new start for all the players, a clean slate and that includes Sito. "He will be given every opportunity, like the other players, to show me what he can do and, if he matches the form that he showed when he first arrived at the club, he will be putting himself in the first team frame. "He was terrific when he first arrived but his form dipped and he has to step up his game now and show the consistency that's needed. That's the challenge I've set him." In January, the 26-year-old signed a new contract which runs out in 2008.
