An Ipswich-based bookies is quoting odds on Town's next sponsor. The current deal with Greene King is up at the end of the season and the brewers may find stiff competition from a place on our heroes' chests.

Whenever the club have mentioned this recently they have always said how happy they are with Greene King and it does seem likely that providing they can stump up the cash their name will continue to be sported by Town.

The other candidates quoted in what may be seen as a publicity stunt are companies like BT, NTL, and a number of insurance companies. The inevitable tractor reference wasn't avoided and Massey Ferguson are mentioned as a possibility.
