Luc Nilis’s dad has spoken out against Town keeper Richard Wright after his son received a double broken leg in a collision with the keeper. Roger Nilis, an ex-professional footballer himself, said: "The goalkeeper was wild. He came out at Luc with too much force and I am very upset about that. He had a problem with his knee seven years ago and at the time he thought his career might be over. I told him then and I have said it again that he will come back. He will work 300 per cent to get there because he is a Nilis."

Ipswich Town have announced that terms have been agreed with Slovenian club, NK Maribor for the registration of their Slovakian international left-sided defender Amir Karic for an undisclosed fee, pending a work permit.
