Town's appeal over Sito's red card against Norwich will be heard on Tuesday. The Blues are supplying video evidence of the incident to the FA's Disciplinary Committee.

Skipper Jim Magilton says referee Lee Mason told him he was going to show Sito a yellow card and not a red after Kevin Lisbie had gone to ground during Sunday's East Anglian derby with Norwich City. Magilton felt Mason's decision to send the full-back off ruined the match.

Bowden took questions from fans on a variety of issues and revealed that the investor reported to have been at the Sheffield Wednesday game was in fact, as TWTD suggested at the time, a potential sponsor, probably of the North Stand.

Town's U18s crashed to a 5-0 defeat at Watford on Saturday morning. Better news was that the U16s defeated the Hornets 4-2.

Former boss George Burley has made rare comments on Town's 2001/02 relegation and his sacking. The Blues dropped out of the Premiership just a year after finishing fifth having made a number of high-profile signings. Three months into the next season Burley was relieved of his duties.

Boss Joe Royle confirmed that the Blues will appeal Sito's red card against Norwich. The Town manager says he is unsure that there was any contact between the Spaniard and Canaries striker Kevin Lisbie in the 18th minute incident which all but handed the game to the visitors.

Ten-man Town were unlucky to be on the end of a 1-0 defeat to Norwich City at Portman Road. Once again the Blues were on the end of poor derby refereeing, Sito controversially seeing red on 18. Darren Huckerby scored the only goal in a second half largely controlled by Town.
