The Town U17 squad playing at the Voskescup tournament in Belgium this weekend were surprised when a minibus containing 15 travelling supporters arrived in Lokeren to take in Sunday’s games.

Town’s U17s finished seventh at the Voskescup tournament which was hosted by Belgian club SC Lokeren this weekend. Midfielder Byron Lawrence, who made his senior debut on the final day of the 2011/12 campaign, top scored for the Blues with four goals.

Town’s U21s bounced back from Friday's 3-0 defeat at Barnet with an excellent 4-1 victory over Bristol City at Playford Road this afternoon. Jack Marriott (pictured) scored twice, either side of half-time, with sub Cemal Ramadan also grabbing a brace late on.

A very young Town U21 side, including a trialist, lost 3-0 to Barnet at Underhill on Friday evening. Skipper Byron Lawrence and Cormac Burke were the only players involved with any first team experience with the whole squad aside from Burke made up of scholars and schoolboys.
