... which is really good to see and hear - but did get me thinking about previous assistant managers.
I can't really recall too many occasions when the Assistant Manager has received vocal crowd support, in the fashion that Connor received yesterday.
Dale Roberts was held in very high regard, of course, but I can't remember singing about him.
At the other end of the scale, Chris Hutchings appeared to be mainly held in extremely low esteem.
