I'm bloody pleased it has, rubbish game, rubbish atmosphere and watching Stoke is like watching paint dry. A little bit like watching us over the past month or so with exception to yesterday's second half.
Apparently there is no tube link from London Bridge to South Bermondsey, which is obviously the safest route via the caged entrance to the away end. It was explained to me that you have to go to Surrey Keys and walk to the ground via the shat hole that is Millwall down and out areas, and more importantly be at risk of attack from the local lunes.
It's going to be a rather short tournament for us in Brazil, I hope I am wrong but we cannot handle pacy teams at all. This make shift German side made us look very static in comparison, with the exception of Andros Townsend.
I think we as a club should consider selling our grounds naming rights, if it guarantees a multi million pound income which will then hopefully give Mick a good purse to strengthen our squad, which may in turn get us to the promised land then I'm all for it.
Will he won't he stuff. If Micks going I would rather he went sooner rather than later, then we may get a manager who can see how poor in an attacking sense our central midfield is, also see that quite clearly as much as I like him Chambo is not a right back, he offers nothing in support going forward, his distribution is poor. I think we have some of the players we need to succeed but we need a goal scorer and an attacking midfielder.
I can't help feeling that our real local hero has never been honoured, we have Sir Alf & Sir Bobby with stands, bars & statues etc. However our real local born hero Roger Osbourne our FA Cup winning goalscorer has continually been overlooked. Maybe the bridge on west end road should have bared his name instead of Sir Bobby.
