We have come a long way from the dreary Days of Keane and Jewell and are looking like a well run club again witH youngsters pushing for places in the first team.
It was evident on Saturday watching the game that our biggest issue we have is keeping the ball and being comfortable on the ball.
The two teams already promoted play good passing football and the third team to get promoted plays good passing and I believe to get out of this division you need to play a good passing game and as 7 out of the top 8 did this season. We need to work on keeping the ball longer and that takes the pressure off because without the ball the opposition can't hurt you.
I do wonder sometimes what is done in training at Portman Road, I watched the Bristol City Swindon game last night and both teams were comfortable on the ball and played from the back something Ipswich arent capable of doing. it has become more frustrating as the season goes on the more we play hoofball to Murphy and expect miracles yes its an option not just the only thing we can do as Im sure Alex Mathie said commentationg on the Huddersfield game we are a one trick pony
