![]() Thursday, 18th Jan 2007 22:58 Academy goalkeeper Óskar Pétursson has rejoined his former club GrindavÃk back in Iceland, as predicted by TWTD earlier in the week. Pétursson was set to complete his two-year scholarship with the Blues at the end of the season. The Iceland U17 international's time at Playford Road has been hampered by a series of wrist injuries, although we understand Town were keen to hang onto him and it was his decision to return to his homeland. According to reports in Iceland, 17-year-old GrindavÃk left-back Jósef Kristinn Jósefsson is set for trial spells with a number of clubs, including Town and 1981 UEFA Cup final opponents AZ Alkmaar.
